Our Wines

Our purple hands at the end of each harvest are proof that Jacaranda wines are truly handcrafted, from vine to bottle, with much love, passion and attention to detail.

Jacarande Wine Estate | Our Wines

With 3,2 ha under vine, Jacaranda Wine Estate in Wellington is the smallest registered Wine Estate in South Africa, with an annual production of 20,000 – 25,000 bottles.

Our vineyard is planted to Chenin Blanc, Viognier, Chardonnay, Shiraz and Mourvedre.

At Jacaranda we believe that wines have a story to tell. The story of the year they were made in, the soil they were grown from and the character of the people that tend to the vineyard and craft them.

Natural vineyard management, wild fermentation, low sulphites and careful barrel selection underline the uniqueness of each wine made in our cellar.

Harvest Range

Fresh and young wines. The labels were inspired by pictures taken during harvest 2020, by the very talented Claudia Link (Link Photography) Switzerland.

Artisanal Range

Here, we allow ourselves to go experimental, with unusual blending percentages and vinification methods. All wines are made in the ‘alternative style’ method, natural fermentation and low in sulphites.

Reserve Range

Old Vines, new barrels and utmost care in the cellar.
